Testing the Sasha Collection from Laela Jeyne Patterns

Laela Jeyne Patterns recently updated the Sasha Collection* and I had the pleasure of testing it out. There are so many combinations!
The customization options include:
-two bodice options: a faux wrap front or a button up front
-four sleeve lengths: sleeveless, short sleeves, 3/4 sleeves, and long sleeves
-an elastic or drawstring waist
-a blouse option
-three skirt lengths: mini, knee length, and maxi
-two romper options: shorts and pants/jumpsuit
-and you can choose a knit or light to medium weight woven fabric with plenty of drape

It comes in size XS-XXL (0-22).

The adorable relaxed fit is so comfortable that I found myself whipping up three Sashas during the testing process. All of them have an elastic waist and the button up front (and some even have invisible snaps, click here to find out how I added them) but I chose three different lengths: the blouse, a slighted shortened mini to be more of a tunic to pair with leggings, and the knee length dress. I also added a gathered elastic hem to my 3/4 sleeve tunic (more on that here). I think it’s a great fall look!

Get your copy here* while it’s only $6.50 (and there’s a coffee for an extra dollar off in the facebook group!) for the release sale! It’s an intermediate level pattern but don’t let that deter you if you consider yourself to just be a beginner. The instructions are very clear and she takes you through every step.

Happy Sewing!! 🙂
